If you are a budget traveler, one of your go-to hotels in Spain is the Ibis Budget group. They are very extremely reasonably priced and clean. The one in Valencia was no different. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and came with towels and toiletries.
The hotel breakfast had a decent spread of breads, fruits, meats, juice, tea and coffee. I found it filling and a good kick-start for my Spain and Portugal road trip.
This has to be one of the best hotels in Spain. Not only are the grounds and the building just gorgeous, but the hotel rooms are super spacious! As you enter your room, there is a long hallway with a huge wardrobe. As you go along it, you reach your sitting room, complete with a fold-away sofa bed, television, as well as a study desk and chair.
The adjoining bedroom area is huge. There was a queen sized bed and two beds to spare, each with their own set of towels and toiletries. And FYI The biggest hotel bathroom ever!! I am so glad I stayed here during my Spain and Portugal road trip, and I highly recommend every traveler to do so. It’s a great place to stay especially if you plan to stay longer in Cordoba and make day trips to the surrounding cities like Granada.
We spent the night at the Hotel Ibis Budget Malaga Aeropuerto Avenida Velazquez. It’s a “no frills” place, but it is close to the airport, has a clean room, toiletries and a hot shower. That’s all I need! Another great choice for budget hotels in Spain.
One of my favorite hotels in Spain is the Hotel Mozarbez Salamanca. Located right off highway N-630, the hotel was only a 15 minute drive from the city center.
I loved our room! It was nice and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. The bathroom was proper luxury: toiletries, walk-in shower, bidet, a magnifying side mirror for the ladies (I got to work immediately with the tweezers!).
The morning breakfast was a generous spread with different jams, cheeses, meats, breads, beverages, sweets and cakes, as well as hot dishes like sausage and potatoes. Thumbs up!!
